Greater Finglas Parish Funeral Ministry
As in all parishes, Greater Finglas Parish celebrates the lives of many of our dearly departed Parishioners at their funeral Masses. The funeral Mass is a gift and a chance to give thanks for the life of a family member or friend. We encourage family members and friends to take an active part in this important service and we have prepared a resource that we hope will help to make the funeral arrangements a little easier for all.
In preparing for a family funeral we have produced three helpful documents that, we hope, will help in the planning and the organisation of this sacrament at this sad time. And they are:

Funeral Booklet
Greater Finglas Parish – Funeral Booklet, Preparing the Christian Funeral…

Readings for Funerals
Helps you to choose the readings for the funeral Mass of your loved one…

Family Involvement
Funeral Mass – Family involvement: Symbols of life, readings, Prayers of the Faithful, etc.
Please note that due to the high number of funerals in the Greater Finglas area, the priest officiating may not be someone you are familiar with, as priests are currently working on a rota basis.
